The work represented here is from a semester of an intro to sculpture class I took.

We worked with various materials but by far, clay was my favorite.

I loved painting/glazing the clay and seeing the results after baking it in the kiln.

Scratchboard was introduced to me by one of my drawing professors and I honestly don't know why I havent done more of it. The graphic results really pop because of the extreme contrasts between the white underboard and black ink that gets scratched off.
